Hey Photogs! You might be asking, ‘Wait, we’re photographers! Why are you doing an episode about video? I never shoot video on my camera!’ However, in the age of scrolling through your social media feed to get your daily news and finding new businesses on Facebook and Instagram, consumers crave video advertisement. Mike talks with Sally Sargood about this new marketing venture and how businesses like Animoto can help you start making video advertisements today…even if you’ve never hit ‘record’ on your camera.
More About our Guest Speaker: In 2010, Sally Sargood started a consulting business called I Need a Sally, offering photographers help in their businesses. Her audience quickly expanded, with photography vendors also began seeking her advice. In 2013, she began working with Animoto moving to New York City soon after to work full time out of their NYC office. She started out in Marketing, running the Pro Photography division at Animoto, but has recently totally embraced video, taking on the role of Video Production Manager. With video becoming more and more prevalent online, she’s at the forefront of this latest trend in marketing your business.
